Mentoring

I have mentored graduate researchers at Harvard, the University of Maryland, ETH Zürich and the University of Waterloo, and undergraduates at Princeton and Waterloo. I also helped six students from my Waterloo course secure IQC internships through guidance on approaching faculty and reference letters.

Educational development

At the Centre for Teaching Excellence, University of Waterloo, I worked as a Graduate Educational Developer (January–May 2022) and TA Workshop Facilitator (2021). Across both roles, I designed and facilitated workshops, conducted teaching observations and microteaching sessions, and provided personalised feedback for graduate instructors.

Qualification: Certificate in University Teaching, University of Waterloo.

My physics-education research examines how instructors identify and address misconceptions, including in quantum physics.
